Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB)

Oasis Media has been asked to run the regional press and PR campaign for National Maintenance Week run by SPAB in 2009. This represents the eighth year in a row that we will be working with SPAB. Our partnership started with key creative planning and partnership building in the run-up to the inaugural National Maintenance Week in 2002, which coincided with the 125th anniversary of the SPAB’s foundation.

Oasis Media once again successfully achieved widespread regional newspaper coverage for SPAB National Maintenance Week 2007. Work involved helping to generate and send out features material and visuals to major regional newspaper groups which publish supplements or special pages with homes, property or DIY-related subject matter. These have longer lead-in times which have required early approaches tailored to their individual editorial needs. Work was also conducted to generate regional BBC radio interviews about National Maintenance Week.
